Lower Limb Specialist Physiotherapy
We treat a wide range of lower limb injuries, most of which can be cured with a good course of lower limb physiotherapy.
The common problems we see are: Runner’s knee, ITB Friction syndrome, Patellofemoral Pain, PFPS, Shin Splints, Sprained ankles, lateral ligament tears, ACL reconstruction rehab, Achilles tendonitis or tendonosis, plantar fasciitis, meniscal tears, calf and hamstring tears, jumpers knee, patella tendonitis, Medial ligament tears, post surgery rehab; knee and hip replacements, knee and ankle reconstructions, Achilles tendon repairs.
Lower limb injuries can be a result of acute trauma (you sprained your ankle), or overuse (Achilles pain after running). As a London marathon injury clinic we have a huge amount of experience treating overuse injuries, while most of our therapists are – or have been – involved in elite sport where they have treated vast numbers of acute injuries.
The way to treat any injury is to have it properly assessed by some of the best physiotherapists in London. Most of the time we can diagnose you immediately, and begin treatment. On occasionally do we need to arrange a scan to get a clearer diagnosis. However if we need to do that we can arrange it on the day we see you.
