Anne Roebuck Director:

Anne Roebuck MCSP HPC OCPPP

Andre Bason Spinal Specialist:

Andre Bason MSc MCSP HPC MMACP

Andre obtained his BSc in Physiotherapy 2001, and his MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy from UCL in 2008. He is trained in both physiotherapeutic and osteopathic techniques, connective tissue and joint manipulation, myofascial and viscerofascial release and acupuncture. Andre is also a qualified Pilates mat work teacher.

Andre began specialising in neck and back related injuries back in 2003 whilst working for ESPH and Broadgate Spine & Joint Clinic, before joining Physiotherapy London in June of this year.

Ben Cameron Spinal Specialist:

Ben Cameron BPhty MCSP HPC

Prior to joining Physiotherapy London, New Zealand born Ben Cameron spent 4 years in one of the highest clinical physiotherapy positions in the NHS, that of a Clinical Specialist in Spine Pain. His role entailed the treatment of spinal patients within A&E, orthopaedic clinics, and pain management clinics. Ben also worked closely with Orthopaedic Consultants in triage clinics, with responsibility for signing for MRI and x-ray investigations where appropriate.

In addition to a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree, Ben is also Credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy by the International Mackenzie Institute (requiring intensive/extensive study of spinal assessment and treatment).

Ruth Ashton Pelvic Specialist:

Ruth Ashton BSc MCSP HPC ACPWH

Prior to joining Physiotherapy London Ruth was the lead Women's Specialist at the North Middlesex Hospital, where she was involved in the assessment and treatment of complex musculoskeletal and urogenital conditions. Ruth's expertise therefore lies in the treatment of: symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SIJ), pregnancy-related low back pain, and stress/urge incontinence.

Ruth is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Women's Health, and graduated with a 1st Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University.

Matthew Goodman Lower Limb Specialist:

Matthew Goodman BSc MCSP HPC AACP PG Dip Advanced Clinical Practice

Wasps Rugby Union physio, Matt Goodman, has a 1st Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy, a PG Dip in Advanced Clinical Practice, and is currently in the process of completing a Masters Degree in Musculoskeletal Medicine. Matt is also a qualified acupuncturist.

In addition to manual and exercise therapy, Matt utilises video motion analysis, orthotic therapy and diagnostic ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of his patients; all of which facilities are available to him at Physiotherapy London.

Matteo Europeo Lower Limb Specialist:

Matteo Europeo MSc MCSP HPC BSc Osteopathy

Matteo currently holds one of the highest clinical physiotherapy positions in the NHS, that of Clinical Specialist for the Sports Physiotherapy Department of a large London NHS Hospital. He also collaborates with British University College Sports and UK Athletics to provide physiotherapy to world class athletes. Matteo uniquely holds both an MSc in Physiotherapy and a BSc in Osteopathy, and has presented research at numerous medical conferences and Universities, including Oxford Brookes and The University of Queensland. He also continues to provide teaching and clinical supervision to the MSc and BSc students on the Sports & Exercise Medicine Degree Courses at Queen Mary's Hospital in London.

Rob Fox Upper Limb Specialist:

Rob Fox BSc MCSP HPC

10 years qualified, Rob obtained his BSc in Physiotherapy in 2000 from UEL and has since gone on to specialise in work related and sporting injuries; with a particular interest in upper Limb disorders (studying under the renowned Shoulder Specialist Dr Jeremy Lewis).

With a black belt in Ju-jitsu, and currently training for his 2ndDan, plus his experience playing rugby for a Kent premier league team, Rob has witnessed and treated a wide variety of sporting/upper limb injuries.

James Thompson
Sports Injuries Specialist:

James Thompson BPhty MCSP HPC PG Dip Sports Medicine.

James obtained his B.Phty in 2003 and his PG Dip in Sports Medicine in 2007 from Otago University, New Zealand; his country of origin. He received an award from Otago University for 'Best Research' for his dissertation 'The Biomechanics of an Efficient Throwing Action'.

He has provided physiotherapy for elite athletes including: Hawke's Bay National Rugby & Hockey teams, The New Zealand Royal Ballet, Spirit of The Dance, and various National Championship Events including Track and Field, Netball and Football.

He is a former New Zealand junior pole vault title holder and regional record holder, and has sprinted at a national level in both 100m and 200m.

James divides his time between his specialist role at Physiotherapy London and that of Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist for the Army at Wellington Barracks.

Bruce Butler Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist:

Bruce Butler BSc LSSM ISRM

Bruce is a Senior Lecturor at the North London School of Sports Massage, having obtained his Diploma in Sports & Remedial Massage Therapy in 2001. Prior to this he also completed a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science from the University of North London.

Marsha Evans Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist:

Marsha Evans MSc MCSP HPC ISRM MACPSM

Marsha is both a Chartered Physiotherapist and Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist. She has a BSc (Hons) in Sports & Exercise Science and an MSc in Rehabilitation Science. Fanatical about athletics she has treated the likes of Merlene Ottey and currently provides sports massage to the entire UK Sprint Squad.
