Physiotherapy London invests in the most technologically advanced digital gait analysis system currently available. With a pressure plate housing 4096 sensors, scanning at a rate of 125 per second, the TOG GaitScan measures the distribution of force through each foot with each step. This not only highlights potential areas of lower limb impairment, it also constructs a 3D image of each foot which can be sent directly to a laboratory for the production of customised orthotics*

*Orthotics are shoe inserts which support the natural arches of the feet in order to prevent abnormal movement; which can result in numerous disorders such as: shin splints, achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, low back pain etc
